What we collect

• Your mobile number, to sign you in and to let us contact you about your account.
• Your profile: the display name, district and description you choose, and a photograph if you add one.
• Your listings, including photographs and the contact number you attach to them.
• Messages you send to other members through the marketplace.
• Verification outcomes. If you ask to be verified we record which method was used, the reference from the verification provider, the name on the record, whether it matches your display name, and the year of birth. We do not ask for, receive or store your Aadhaar number or any other identity number, and the system refuses to save one.
• Technical records: requests to the site, the time, and limited information needed to apply rate limits and to investigate abuse.

What other people can see

Your display name, district, description, badges, listings, ratings and the month you joined are public to signed-in members. Your phone number is not shown on your listings. It is revealed only when a buyer presses the contact button, and we record when that happens. Your legal name, your year of birth, your email address and your account identifier are never published.

Why we use it

To run your account and your listings, to let members reach each other, to review listings before they appear, to detect fraud and abuse, to answer your complaints, and to meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data. Advertising on the marketplace is sold by us directly and is not targeted using your personal data; advertisers receive counts, never your details.

Who else sees it

• Our hosting and infrastructure providers, who store the data on our behalf: [ LIST PROVIDERS, e.g. Cloudflare ].

How long we keep it

Your rights

You may ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete your account and its content, and complain about how we have handled it. Write to [ SUPPORT EMAIL ]; we will answer within [ NUMBER ] days. You may also complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Security, and its limits

Connections to the site are encrypted, passwords are not stored at all, and access to the administration screens is limited to the operator. No system is perfect; if a breach affects you we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Children

The marketplace is not for people under 18 and we do not knowingly keep their data. If you believe a child has an account, tell our Grievance Officer and we will remove it.
